Ranuvorl of the Ocean
Water Inanimae of Spring

As you gaze upon this ageless beauty
you see that she is not a mere mortal;
but one of the Fair Folk, the Wild Ones.
Her beauty old as the ocean that once
saw the beginning of this fay being.

Her hair cascades down her slender shoulders,
coming to rest at her sylphlike waist,
shimmering in gold, like rays of the sun
dancing upon the surface of the sea
at the earliest hours of the dawn,
crowned by wreathes of sea weed;
dark green floating on glistening gold.

The lithe form is sculptured perfectly
from the eternal shifting, changing sea,
waves of water contained within her skin;
shimmering, shifting, cascading in
hues of blue and black, green and white
rolling, rarely resting, rarely calmed.
Her form is adorned by a drapery of
finest, pearly silk; a simple chain of
gold clinging to her slender waist.

Her face dominated by deep black eyes,
but are they as black as they would appear?
Within them are contained the whole ocean,
glittering, glistening, moving,
dancing, iridescent creatures swirling inside.
And deep, deep beneath the surface shines
the moon with it's bluish light, though still
as her mood changes, the glow may change to
the lambent white light of the Hunter moon
or oracular red of the Harvest moon.
Bewitching eyes framed by white eyelashes
and crowned by reflecting eyebrows.

Elfin in form, elfin in stature, but
she is a child of the stormy ocean.

Mortal Seeming

Before you stand a beautiful woman, clad in a long white dress of silk, a golden chain circling her waist. Her golden locks, constantly damp, come to rest at her waist, and her deep, dark blue eyes study humanity under black eyelashes. She stands tall and slender, her features narrow and elfine, and she moves with ease and grace.
